#11. Did somebody take down the dev network again???
#10. I love how I can reboot a Linux host in less than 60 seconds where a Windows host takes at least 5 minutes to reboot. Windows = A waste of time.

#9. When you’ve tried everything you can think of and restarted all of the applicable services 5 times so you finally give up and reboot the server. It fixes the problem but now you don’t know what the actual problem was. #@$%!
#8. I was rushing at the end of my shift trying to get this script done to run a query against one of our DNS servers every two minutes to see if I can catch some lag throughout the day and I ended up with a script that sends half of the output to a log, the other half to my email. I am going to end up with over 9000 emails and log entries that I have to piece together when I get back. It’s so ridiculous and I love it.
#7. When your idiot co-workers try to build a server using Windows.
#5. Having to write a detailed work plan, including a back out plan, for every stupid maintenance you do. Even if it’s just changing a single word in a configuration file. -_-
#3. Sometimes I feel like my bosses ignore my best work because they feel they’d have to pay me more if they acknowledged it.
And this is only ONE of the reasons they will lose me.
